the word legend gets tossed around quite loosely, but this dude is a classified one. couldn’t be more hyped about this.

Jed really is the Jordan of snowboarding. I remember those Sunday in the Parks coming out and being blown away, almost like Jordan’s time at UNC. Next thing you know he’s the biggest out. Believe me everyone I knew wanted to be like him. Shoot the Moon was a game changer and I believe progressed snowboarding into what it has been for the last 10 years. I was absolutely obsessed with everything from 2011 to 2015. I’ve probably watched Crazy Loco at least 500 times. Dude was at the peak of his career, left for a few years, and came back better than ever. Believe me, there’s a lot of snowboarders that have influenced me (especially Grenier) but none like Jed. I believe he’s the biggest reason why I’ve been pushing so hard to get better at filming and seeing my friends become some of the best in the East over the years. Big shoutout to my mans, what a legend.

Such a good f*cking convo about trying things and scaring yourself. Pretty applicable across alot of disciplines, hits home riding MTB for me especially. There comes a point where you just have to trust your skills and commit. Over thinking is just as dangerous as under evaluating, it's a fine balance.

it doesn't matter if u snowboard and skate in different stances, switch is full credit. its not sketchy to ride a skateboard in the opposite direction, its popping and flicking off the opposite feet that is the real challenge.

Sometimes pros that are as good as Jed forget that it’s sick to watch stuff that’s relatable. Most of us aren’t hucking double kinks in the streets. It’s sick to see that high level tech stuff but also it’s the simple shit that just feels good also feels good to watch. All of this shit comes down to a feeling. If it feels good when you do it it’s probably gonna look good to the audience. Thats my theory anyways. Jed rips 🙏

1:41:20 okay I'm going full internet warrior here because it has to be said. With SLC closing down rail gardens woodward did almost a great thing buy attempting to recreate the rails. But people didn't snowboard at rail gardens simply because of a down bar. It was free. I love woodward but they need to create a free environment where snowboarders can go and not worry about being kicked or paying for a lift ticket. RG was my home during busy holidays and weekends growing up and it's a damn shame seeing it turned to profit. Chris and Stoney please talk about this sometime I would love to hear your ideas to make this a real thing again.

I brought this up to my local town about putting in a public park with a rope tow and 2 snow guns and they straight up laughed at me saying no one would use it and the liability is too high when they have perfect pitch hills at about 10%-20% grade about 500 feet long and no one uses the parks in the winter anyway

Dude we need an organization to bring small temporary hike parks around the US, maybe in or near cities. Could have rail jam competitions or j a chill setup. It would definitely benefit ppl who can’t afford or aren’t near a mountain.
