Jeddah Airport Transit in 2024. Saudia Airways airport transfer in Saudi Arabia

I was flying from Bangkok to Birmingham with Saudia Airways in May 2024 and filmed the transit process, from getting off the plane to getting to the gate... I find it to be a nice airport which goes against some other viewpoints shared online...

The Saudi Al Fursan lounge upstairs is pretty good. 50$ or so for 6 hours? Pizzeria, buffet. Extensive bar . Coffee bar. Breakfast buffet. Clean toilets and… Those great halve enclosed sofa beds. I could sleep some hours without noise or disturbance. I did not try the other lounge. Downstairs is a transit hotel Aerotel. Think it is about 100$, with own buffet.

$50 sounds like a deal for that... I'll check it out next time. I just drugged myself to turn the 11 hours into 11 seconds but the lounge sounds like a healthier option! Thanks for watching 👍🏽

Hi! Hope you see this! I’ll be having my flight with transit over there next week!! I’ll have a 15 hour layover😭 would you know if transit visa is still needed? Hope im not too late!!

It depends where you are from. I'm from the UK and had no problems but it's different for different passports. Search Google for it, you'll get all of the info easily enough from a bit of searching. Thanks for watching 👍🏽

No, nothing required which surprised me a bit for the length of transit. I think you needed one in the past for over 9 hours but that must have changed?
