Hunting the Ningaloo Reef | Point Billie Campground

After a great couple of nights at North Lefroy, we return to one of our all time favorite camp sites, site 8 at Point Billie! The wind was still around but Jed managed to get out for a successful squid mission and then the following day, we headed out to have a look for some crayfish.

Don't you just love it when the squid go off like that. Kel's jig again. I've caught some good one's on the same jig mate. Cockatiels are my favourite bird. I've always wanted one as a pet. Awesome work, both of you. 4 more weeks, and the new van arrives. Yeah 🍻

Yeah it's hard to keep up on all the rules hey! West oz is also terrible for heaps of different bans and each sanctuary has different rules. I kinda get why you can't spear crays though as it's usually hard to know if they are carrying eggs without seeing under their tail.

Yeah mate definitely! Well I've had better results just south of Point Billies. If ya want send me a message through socials and I'll show ya on a map 👍. It's only a coupla meters deep so light jigs n just drift the weed beds inside that bay. 👌👌

Yeah this is true though vest or no vest if you can still drown if your unconscious. Though most of the time I wear it if solo or out wide. Only a matter of time and they will be law in W.A. Cheers mate for looking out for me👍👍. I'll get better
