A lot of people say they go dark side to gut rosh painfully. But to me, this is so much worse for him because atleast when he dies, Kyle tells him what he always wanted to hear: that he is a true jedi, that Kyle is proud of him. But this? You single handedly take down a 5000 year old sith ghost, stop the cultists and recieve *all* the praise and awards that Rosh feels robbed of, while he gets told by Luke Skywalker himself how much he sucks.

Gotta love the Strong style of lightsaber combat on this game. I think the Jedi Knight series of Star Wars games was my favorite series other than the KOTOR series. I've only played this game and the one before it, Jedi Outcast. Too bad they didn't make more of these games before Disney got their hands on Star Wars.

Everyone I know keep using grip&lightning and the strong single lightsaber style but I just can't get why. Dual lightsabers are a LOT faster and more powerful with force-free crouching kata, they block any amounts of blaster fire and allow you to do do sick tricks in lightsaber clinches, and even fighting when one of your sabers is pulled away from you. And as for the force powers, mind trick is by far the most powerful force power, way ahead of easily blocked and force-draining lightning, giving you the ability to gain an army of heavy blaster hitters following you and doing all the job for you at any moment. Also force protect combined with force absorb, makes you basically an understandable powerhouse, helps you beat through any force user and other npcs with extream ease. Grip is useful as long as there's a hole to drop someone into, but suddenly when you encounter someone who can't be thrown anywhere and lightning won't do him any damage, you are screwed with no way to battle. I tried every style, force and ending in this game, but nothing beats pure light-side force set and dual weilding lightsabers. They absolutely rape this game from inside.

LongLive TrueFreedom The Strong style was able to break through the defense of any lightsaber-wielding opponents, be they dual-wielding or saberstaff. Try using it during the story mode and you'll see. It can kill most lightsaber-wielding opponents in one or two hits. Sure, it's not the fastest lightsaber style. But with the Strong style, you can almost guarantee that a hit will break through your opponent's defense and land a hit. And speed doesn't really mean much if you can't land a hit with a flurry of attacks.

99thJediWarrior Depends who you're fighting and on what difficulty level. On Jedi Master or even Knight difficulty, when battling Reborn Masters, hard style will not penetrate their guard, and your slow defenced will be your undoing, because these guys are fast as hell. As I said, you can easily enter more penetrating abilities in dual weilding like the crouching force-free kata, which can also break through any defenses, but instead of doing one, slow and avoidable strike it delivers 15-20 superfast and unblockable cuts. And if you're using a single saber style, you'll die a lot on harder difficulties, because stronger opponents will pull your saber away from you on any occasion, and without it lightning deals you 5 times the regular damage, and for an instant you have no way to defend yourself and any strike or lightsaber throw kills you if it reaches you. But with dual wielding, you still got one lightsaber left and you can defend and fight with it until you'll be able to pull your lost saber back. It's all a matter of opinion in the end I guess, but single style is really too slow to be practical and is lacking in defences.

LongLive TrueFreedom For you, maybe. I prefer to have my attacks break through defenses and have a chance of hitting with a single lightsaber. That and most times, you can get away with only a few hits where as you need multiple strikes to kill someone, whether you use a different single lightsaber style or dual lightsabers. Also, that's just your perference. I use what I use because it works for me. If you use dual lightsabers more, that's fine.

It's supposed to represent the quality of the Tibanna gas used in the laser. The higher quality and more refined Tibanna gas causes it to be green, with lower quality being red. At this point, the Empire can't get higher quality gas, while the new republic can, so the laser colors changed.

Both ending are, as Alora said, "blandly predictable". Light: I will kill Alora without a backwards look (expression). I'll taunt Tavion in an unJedi-like way. I'll throw in cheesy lines as well. Dark: I will within ten seconds become a douche, and spout that everyone besides me is weak, because I am strong! I will throw in cheesy lines. And seeing as this was made AFTER KotOR, how they designed Ragnos' tomb, is completely erasing the Valley of the Dark Lords!

after months of trying to beat tavio I finally beat her using the high ground tactic,i try fighting her face to face & running,mostly & ran.& jump on all the columns & even the statue of ragnos & on the edge on top of ragnos statue. & finally manage to achieve yesterday.after falling to my death several times.I didn't notice what happen she jump we fight then I jump down & ran to the entrance ready to confront her again but somehow she fell & die. finally I take whatever victory it is.

u need to download bittorrent, then go to isohunt dot com. Download Jedi Academy. and now comes the difficult part. u need to have Daemon tools to run the two files. or any other virtual disc program. fist enter the file called disc 1, after it says enter disc 2, unmount disc 1 and mount disc 2. after its installed, mount disc one and go to Start, programms, lucasarts and press Single player or multiplayer. Autorun doesnt work.

Man what's with people and strong style? Strong style is supposed to be used sparingly not as the main style. It's not fun to play when you don't use the full range of techniques. Acrobatcis, medium and fast style, with the occasional input of strong style to parry and surprise your opponent.

the lightsaber was invented before ragnos's reign and technically he didn't destroy any jedi merely continued the hatred. Also a little detail sith swords are made to reflect most of energy directed to it and they are laced with the darkside of the force so they can withstand a great deal

It does happen on occasion. 4000 years earlier Revan encountered the spirit of another ancient Sith, Ajunta Pall, on the same planet in one of the other tombs. Depending on the player choices, Pall can even be redeemed and returned to the light side.
