@Carolyn Wilson, I’ve been watching since the specials came out. We were a Christian homeschooling family and I loved watching them deal with so many children and organize their schedule and routines. It helped me so much deal with my own “large” family of 7 children plus fosters. They helped me to remember to focus on my faith and that the Lord was in control and not me. I’m a senior now (mid 60s) and I still am grateful for all I learned through their family. No one is perfect. They have raised resilient children who can take care of themselves and aren’t reliant on the system or their parents to take care of them. That should be everyone’s goal in parenting. But it doesn’t need to look the same for everyone. Yet scoffers think the world should be viewed through their own personal lense.

I never blamed the family for Josh’s bad choices. I know some did and that’s so unfortunate but each family has something that they have to work through. I respect Jim Bob and Michelle very much and they’ve done a wonderful job raising all of their children. In my family there were 5 kids and I honestly don’t know how my Mom managed, but 19? I can tell you that I have learned so much from just watching the Duggars and I have no kids (unless you count furr babies), ❤ but still I wish they would come back on tv! I’m glad we can watch some of them here so that’s good!

I've always loved Jed's sense of humor and it looks like he's found a sweet wife who has a similar sense of humor, and that little guy sure looks like his dad! ☺ My family isn't perfect either but as parents we do what we think is best at the time, as I'm sure your parents did. Thank you both for taking the time to share your lives as followers of Jesus and God. I want to say I have always loved the Duggars. I love Mr. and Mrs. Duggar. Of course, we don't know them personally... Only by all the shows and videos. But they are an inspiration to me. I find Mrs. Duggar as sweet as can be as well as strong and loving. And anyone who can raise that many children in such a loving and Godly way is an example. I have shared the Duggar family marriages many times on my fb page, and commented how this is the way Christians should select spouses and also keeping the girls safe and pure and godly. I am very glad Mr. Jed is telling about his love for his parents. I do not agree with parent bashing even if they have made any mistakes. And especially when they are so Godly. I do believe in the basic principles of Religion they were taught. I am a Hare Krishna devotee and we live by very strict religious principles.(God is one) and the basic principles of Religion are also one. Though we do believe that godly souls should be Vegetarian. (and take the "Though shalt Not Kill" literally. That one should never kill any living being unnecessarily. There are many Christians who live by this principle. I hope and pray that many Christians will come to understand this simple Truth. As it is one principle that Jesus led me to. I always pray for the greatest good and highest joy of the Duggar family. That Jesus will continue to guide and bless them and help them through the difficult times. Glories to God. 🙏❤
