On some keyboards, the different keys are slightly different shapes. If you want to do this, just be aware so the angles come out right. You might need to make a few different molds.

These are some rally cool ways to make a mold but there are also alot of really cheap silicone molds for resin keycap making on amazon and other websites if you dont have the time or patience to make a mold yourself!

Idk if anyone has said this, but you should consider using silicone mold release. It'll make it easier to take keys out of molds and damage the mold less

Thank you for making these tutorial videos, it's amazing. I'm a new one in working with resin. Do you apply Uv resin for each layer of color or do you use conventional epoxy resin and wait for 3-4 hours for each layer? I'm a bit afraid to use UV resin since it cost more than the others. Can I mix 1 layer of UV resin after its cured with conventional resin? Would it be able to form a concrete layer if I mix them that way? Also, can I use other wax-like wooden furniture polishing to shine it?

You may only eat normal gum. No UV resin needed. But you have to wait longer. I use car polishing paste
