That And the fact that no one understands him I could always hear it when he speaks He speaks in a colorful abstract way sometimes and people don’t understand it and call him crazy Or he tells truth in a blunt way No sugar coating And people don’t wanna hear that from him so they call him crazy So he took medicine to be acceptable to us and people still don’t understand him I always saw the frustration in him Because he’s at a heightened level of awareness And most people are just zombies He sees things for the stupidity it is and we’re the ones wit the problem Not him But there’s more idiots than geniuses like Kanye And that’s frustrating for him After a while u just give up and fall in line unfortunately I saw the scene where he said he has to take medicine for his mind to b able to be acceptable in society But he’s not crazy He has to dumb himself down for us He has to suppress his genius

The fact that he spoke his destiny into existence is a testament to his confidence & drive. The fact that the general public doesn’t give this man his flowers right now is an injustice. Cause the day he’s gone. Everybody will be mourning. We need to appreciate him and let him know that we appreciate him before it’s too late. People say Kanye be so crazy. But they opinion be to foo gaze.

I don't think that giving Kanye more (recognition or otherwise) is the answer to his erratic behavior and mental issues. Criticism of him is justified at times. This is really about Kanye returning to his roots. It's his fight now and I hope he digs himself out of the narcissism that has consumed him.

I loved everything about the doc jeen-yuhs. There were a few things that were very evident from the get-go, for me - 1. Kanye's strong faith and belief in God. 2. The strong foundation his wonderful mother laid for her son. 3. How hard Kanye has worked to get to where he is today. 4. How talented he is as a rapper, producer, designer, creator. The man is the real deal. A GENIUS Artisan!!! No matter the colour of your skin, every person will take away something from this documentary -whether that be the inspiration to believe in yourself and your dreams, to keep fighting for your place of respect in society - having the courage to go back to your past hardships, face them while moving up and forward, without remorse and self-pity. The footage of Kanye with his mother was beautiful to watch. I hope Kanye can find some peace in his mind. To watch his current anguish over KK and his family being played out in the media has me believing he needs to go back to those early days, surrounded by the people who had his best interests at heart. The people who were happy just to see him evolve. The people he didn't have to buy. The people who were happy to see him succeed, and not tear him down. I hope he has that one friend, somewhere, who can guide him to a better place mentally, and remind him how far he has come, but mostly, let him know that everything is gonna be ok. I can't wait for parts 2 and 3 of the Trilogy. And lets' not forget to tip our hats to Coodie - who has done a DOPE job filming/producing this documentary.

@@marieman6720 agree. Nobody understands Ye because they want to compartmentalize him. The music fans only care about the music. The fashion fans only care about Yeezy. His family is part of his life. Also the hate and negativity that relationship survived through is part of his life The manipulation that's happening to them now and driving them apart is part of his life. The media constantly makes him out to be crazy anytime he expresses an emotion or speaks/acts honestly. And nobody sees the full picture or puts anything into context. Sadly I think this doco is only gonna focus on the music and the result will be haters being "ok I'll admit he's a musical genius but that's all". I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I don't think they'll even scratch the surface of his life.

I think the narrative POV of Coodie (camera guy/director/Kanye’s friend) telling the story of Kanye, is really pretty, and I’d actually love that so much.

Finished the trilogy and it was brilliant, every moment was interesting! It took us into who he really is and he is not what people claim to make him out to be. He's very honest and deeply internal spiritually. I understand him so much better after watching. Kudos to Coodie and Chike, amazing work!!! 🙏🏽👏🏼♥️

Watched part 1 last night. Such a beautiful and inspiring documentation of Kanye. He and a few others predicted his future. It’s easy to see how the death of mother lead to him losing his way. She was such a rock for him throughout his rise. The first episode is tragic and inspiring.

If you don’t get inspired by this documentary you crazy. His persistence, confidence and work ethic was crazy. He never stopped believing. I’m a go ahead and say this is the best music documentary that I’ve ever seen. Kanye is the best - To me!

I’m not into his music. It’s not my cup of tea but I shed a tear a couple of times during his Netflix gig and I’ll go to his show once he gets here in Austin Texas . I now get the vibe . It’s never too late to embrace new music . He’s special .

I'm watching this documentary of Kanye and I'm really feeling him, like what he has gone through, his hustle to make it big , c'mon u gotta respect that. I was rocking to Kanye before I even knew who he was. Watching his relationship with his mom, they had a beautifully unique bond, I cried watching how close they were and for him to lose her it broke my heart. I lost my mom too its hard. Kanye struggles only made him stronger. Real inspiration, that Kanye. Respect.

This is amazing how all that was filmed and now he showing a 21 year grind. Perfect job yee. He is a hall of famer and he should get his flowers now. It’s crazy how mj life was crazy, mike Tyson life was crazy, whiten Houston life was crazy but they had issues with the publics view of them but when they past the world cried so hard and wanted them back. But at the day they all were great at there craft and to their families and at the end of the day ain’t that what we all what to do and achieve in this life.

Ye’s a good dude, never had his rap game go on about violence, abuse of women, or being a degen of society. Total college man vibes of aspirations of success and good times. The College Dropout album was my jam in college like so many of my generation who’s about to turn 40 🔥

Just finished watching Act I … it was absolutely brilliant and inspiring. I always knew Kanye was exceptional but being able to see up-close his upbringing and his ambition for greatness and him as a person outside of the mainstream screen, I have a newfound respect for him. he’s one in 8 billion. And I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out… and last but certainly not least, a million thanks to Coodie Simmons for recognizing Kanye’s destiny before anyone else did, and committing to documenting his path to greatness early on, so that the world may one day see what ambition and dream chasing and fruition looks like. anyways, 10/10 documentary 🙏
