That egg crate idea for the lifters is a great idea. Good explanation of everything!

Nashville Early Bronco Thanks. Kinda funny. With this rebuild, I have egg cartons all over with parts in them. Haha. At least they’re all labeled well..

That engine tech kit is good stuff. Rebuilt my brothers cherokee 4.0 in college with engine tech parts and it's been going strong for the past 2 years.

Been watching your rebuild series and I really enjoy it . I've been building engines since the late 70s and really enjoy it. I have an 03 jeep TJ with the 4.0 L with 164,000 miles on it and will be rebuilding it next spring . It runs great , no oil leaks etc , I'm just going thru it to have a fresh engine in it for some overlanding trips that are on the agenda next year . Keep up the great job Dale and I'm looking forward to more of your rebuild series . Take care !!

Hey. Thanks man! I appreciate the feedback. I'd like to have this jeep up and running this spring, but hope to get my other YJ out on a snow trip this winter. Should be fun. Thanks for watching!

I watched 16 of your videos today, including this one. You do a great job. Thanks for the info and tips. I’ve got a ‘95 YJ 2.5L and am hoping to herculine the tub this spring. I’ve got the carpet all set to go in, but I’ve got a water leak up front. Replaced the cowl seal, made sure water drains through the vent just fine, but water still makes it’s way in. It’s irritating.

Awesome! Thanks for watching. I hope my videos can help you out. I hope to line the interior of my project 92 YJ soon as well.

Another great video and outtakes. Really making me regret buying a wagoneer instead of 4.0 yj or XJ.

Thank you! Wagoneer is a great vehicle too.

I'd like to, but still need to look into the cost vs what I could do myself...?

JeepSolid I would definitely get it dipped and machined along with the head if you can. If you plan to do it yourself I would love to see the video! it would be interesting to see a DIY video on that. I am a YJ man myself. I love to see people put an effort into the older jeeps. Your doing a great job, thank you and keep up the good work!
