What temps have you seen wheelin on a hot summer day?
@OutJeeping3 жыл бұрын
Around 165 degrees Fahrenheit from the return line after the trans cooler.
@artardFTW5 жыл бұрын
I personally would have put it on the hot side coming from the Trans, to see how hot it is getting, rather than see how effective the cooler is

I may swap it over in the future

I was just wondering if the size of the body of the brass T piece could affect the readings on the gauge. Hot air coming through the rad could warm the brass and give an incorrect signal..... just a thought.

Heat transfer from the trans fluid through convection will far outtake any outside temperatures.

Well I sold the jeep 6 months ago but it was always working great for me, no issues at all. They are both good companies to choose from.

What gauge wire did you use?
@OutJeeping3 жыл бұрын
I used 14 gauge wire which is plenty for this application, you could get away with 16 gauge as well.

@steveblankenship54743 жыл бұрын
@@OutJeeping I got one of those cheep three core radiator and it started leaking pretty bad. I replaced it with a two core aluminum radiator from Cold Case and it has been fine since. The inside cooling tubes on a Cold Case radiator are much larger than a three core one.
