Hi Glen, Lights- At 1:08 you said bi-xenon headlamps but at 1:17 the entire LED cluster is visible behind the convex lens. Handling- Common power drift, people come here to know about oversteer or understeer, not bodyroll ( its a tall car and its bound to happen) , please be specific :( thats what makes you guys so awesome. You never mentioned if its ladder, monococue or hybrid chassis like vitara ... please include those info. Steering you mentioned eps and you also mentioned steering giving a certain level of feedback, maybe you could share a bit more about the steering and the difference with hps. you mentioned about driving in tight and twisty roads , maybe the mention of turning radius would have been helpful, most of us will eventually get this in a crowded city. Gearbox/transmission you are talking about silver finish gear lever and all, that's ok for wider audience but you never mentioned about the gear ratios , are they short or long or have been tuned for indian city/highway riding scenarios. Offroadability Did not mention it was awd and not 4wd . Did not mention about water waiding ability, approach/departure/rampover angles :( People interested in Jeeps would also be interested in knowing the values. ( of course we can look that up but again its PD and I personally have taken you guys to be the most detailed review for granted .... ) Seats/Infotainment systems and all are important part of the review but PD army was the best at giving the perfect review for enthusiasts ( remembering the new Scorpio and specially the bike reviews). I am a big fan of the work of PD Army and I come back for fetching details. This review was great for the average Indian car buyer but PD Army excels in giving a very different and detailed review. Not trying to point fingers but PD reviews are the best for enthusiast and please keep it like that. Please dont get me wrong folks but if the Car reviews are as detailed as the bike reviews , I would be on happy subscriber.

This is one of the more professional and honest reviews of the jeep compass out there. Good job! Regarding the Compass, it will do well initially because of its surprisingly low launch price, but the long term success will depend on how well FCA dealers are able to service and support the compass. After sales support has been a major problem for FCA in india, and that will be an important factor that will determine its long term success.

Good Review. Simple and no-nonsense. Keep up the good work. One small correction though.. .Koni FSD stands for Frequency "Selective" Damping and not Frequency "Sensitive" as pointed out.

This car has got some qualities like superb design, build quality, good interiors, very good car and suv manners combined together. whenever people decide to take a car the first thing they look at is its beauty. This car has that in plenty. The only question is reliability. That needs to be addressed

I recently purchased a 2018 compass Trailhawk. I thought it would be a great looking car with some more aggressive looking tires on it. Being trail rated and all I thought an all terrain tire would make it look more like a jeep should. After trying to find an all terrain tire for it I came to the conclusion that "trail rated" simply means you get a shiny thing stuck on the fender. I promise to do everything I can to help people from making the same stupid mistake I did by even considering a compass. Thanks for the only car I ever purchased that with 1500 miles I wish I never got it. GREAT ENGINEERING!!!!

I have just sold my xuv w8 bought in 2012.It was still excellent with each sensor and feature working fine after 60,000 kms.I never had much need of cruise control on indian roads.Inbuilt navigation system was very helpful once u go to another city.But my wife doesn't want to drive that big a car especially in crowded part of the city.But now we have choosen jeep compass which fulfills something that I want and smaller sized good vehicle that she wants to drive.

PowerDrift, especially Glen. Man.. when you repeatedly quoted many a times "against its competitors or rivals" could you pls be more specific in terms of its competitors/rivals. And guys could you pls do a comparison review between Volkswagen Tiguan vs Hyundai Tucson vs this Jeep Compass. Though the Compass fall in a different class and segment. But they are almost close in price, certain specifications, features and as well overall appearance. Once again great review guys.

i feel that the Volkswagen tiguan is a better car in both of these ..if the price of jeep is around the vw ..if the jeep is cheaper like 24 Lacks as said... then it would seem a better package.

Nice video summary of the compass. Jeep should have offered the trailhawk edition with low range and underbody armour as well, i think that would have made it really stand out against its rivals like creta, tucson and tiguan. FCA has done a great job marketing the compass, there is such a hype around this car for the last 2-3 weeks. Hope they price it well too.

Compass also has the multijet engine. I wonder if Fiat India could resurrect themselves in the coming days. The Tata Q501/02 prototype is also expected to use Fiat's 2.0 Multijet unit. #PDA
