how many time did you use cruise control in your life sir ?.. indian roads and traffic on highways are not capable of cruise control. thas a feature which will never be used even if it is there. i can guarantee you.

CarsIndia it’s not a reasonable point to avoiding cruise control from Indian cars, it’s not the matter of u and me as a general point of view or the other brands are providing such features so FCA should consider that too to satisfying each and every users. I can confidently assuring that the Indian roads too capable to use cruise control system in interstate roads or any straight roads, hop so u may aware about such roads in India. Regarding Traffic - Yes, you are right but it is not applicable bcz traffic is available all over the world So it is not designed for traffic roads Then why FCA providing sunroof????? Is it useful in Indian roads??? Conclusion- non need to provide such useless things and reduce the price according to other brands One example I will tel u that last year jeep doesn’t have 18” alloys and 8.4 “ infotainment system and I did several messages to FCA and finally they provided ( it’s not bcz of me but I took an effort for that) my interest to buy jeep top end model with maximum features International market jeep providing all such latest features and the price is less compared to Indian market.

@@jobinjose2733 Brother the Taxes in India are so high and the i dont know if your aware about the automobile manufacturing and retail policy here. Jeep for that fact provides the mpst high gradr aluminium composit chassis nad more focsed on the strength nad safety of the build of the car. hence the cost increases there for them as per americans standards they dont allow to degrade their build quality, hence to maintain a low price range they have to sacrifice features such as adaptive cruze control, bigger wheels (current wheels are designes keeping in mind the balance between safety and performance),. But on th3 contrary, other brands like mahindra, tata etc are more towards features and attracting the market. what you dont notice is their build quality is far poorer thna jeep that a customer will feel after 50-60k kms. I may be wrong but thats what i have practically experienced.

The interior of this one looks so boring compared to harrier. Also in global variant of jeep compass, there is a display between dials just like harrier however this one has a small Nokia 1200 type display. LoL!! This brand will be trashed if it doesn't give some better discount and better interiors.

Jeep is a Luxury American brnd, the build quality of the harrier is nothing as compared with jeep. plus jeep offers panoromaic sunroof, electrically adjustble seat with memory, electronic parking brake, dual zone AC, so the jeep compass as a product is priced perfectly as tata has to go a long way in becoming a luxury brand. do check out my tata harrier review soon. subscribe and share. cheers !!

@@CarsIndia90 thanks for the details, but I already know it. Sunroof will soon come to harrier as well. Automatically adjustable seats are something that's not used too often, what come handy for most of the people for long cruising is cruise control that totally misses out even in top compass model. And turbo lag is also more prominent on jeep compass compared to harrier despite both using the same fiat engine.

The fact is that Tata is importing most of its design and parts from Range Rover , and providing us Indian customers at an affordable price point , unlike others who dont even release their "exclusive" models in India until a year or two later after the release in the european market.
