Guys you did it wrong with harrier... Put it in manual mode and then just drive it and don't shift gears the car will automatically shift to upper gear as the RPM reaches beyond 4000 this will give you best acceleration.. I own both cars jeep compass and Tata safari so i know it.. By the way jeep is way beyond tata the Ride quality and driving dynamics is unmatchable!!

Unfare competition.... Automatic transmission will always lose.... They are tuned for more fuel economy... Manual can use more fuel when you floor the pedal and delay changing to higher gear at the expense of more fuel.. Re-do the test with Jeep Auto Transmission when it launces and equalise the weight by adding more weight to lhe lighter vehicles... then the result would be more interesting...
