This video excites me a lot! I have a 2020 JTRLE that I've been going back and forth, back and forth, on if I'm going to do a 2" AEV lift when I do my 35s. After watching this - I'm much more certain I'm just going to do the 35s and not worry about the lift.
@Berserkeroffroad2 жыл бұрын
The stock JTR on 35s is incredibly capable. Make sure you get wheels with the right backspacing so the 35s won't rub at full flex. My rig is by no means a crawler, but it gets me where I want to go.

Hey nice vid! Did you lift the trunk and are tires 35s or 37s? Also, what's that red thing you mount on the towing hitch? Is that a protection?
@Berserkeroffroad Жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's on the stock Rubicon suspension with no alterations with 35" tires. In the receiver is a bumper skid plate from Skid Mark 4x4. It takes a lot of abuse and keeps the rest of the rear end dent-free.

Gladiator and even JK showing their limitations because of the wheelbase/breakover point. 2 door is definitely ideal for trails.
@Berserkeroffroad Жыл бұрын
Depends on the trail. I'd prefer a longer wheelbase on a steep climb as it's more stable, whereas a 2-door is more nimble on tight and technical trails.
