sick rig and video but a friendly reminder, invest small amount of money for tow strip , dont ever use your winch to tow it can damage the winch overtime or worst it might even snap and shit start flying

Watching the black Rubicon, remembering how often my 2003 Rubicon got hung up on that darn skid plate. A nice flat plate does wonders for the tj, and isn't a complex modification. Do it, and enjoy. High centering a Rubicon is the worst feeling ever.

My first manual was a TJ. I had my fair share of sport cars and want to jump back into a jeep. I'm looking into a JLU. Of course I would love a Rubicon but I honestly think it's a bit much and I won't use it to its full potential. That and the price. I'm thinking about jumping into a Sahara. What do you think? I want to off road but not so much rock crawl. I also prefer the 6 speed over the 8spd auto even though my buddies are trying to sway me into auto. I'm over in Clermont.
@TreadandTrail4 жыл бұрын
Firstly, I say get what makes you feel comfortable. I drive a standard as that's what I like but would prefer an auto for offroading as there is more consistent application of throttle. I wouldn't worry about the Rubicon at this point as MOST of your wheeling in FLA won't require it (especially for the trailriding and offroading your looking for). Get what you can get and enjoy it, you can always add a set of lockers or upgrades later. Look us up when you get it and we can get you out on some of our rides.
