Should have just done a full lift with springs and shocks and went with a smaller tire u definitely wont get much flex out of that..

jeep JL have to remember at the time in April it was slim pickings for lifts outside of the 2” Mopar lift.

What's a jl and jt? Been hearing it alot, wasnt big fan of jeep but I just LOVE the gladiator.

The JL and JT are just titles to distinguish between the generations of each vehicle. A JL is the new 2018-present Jeep Wrangler (this replaced the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK) and the JT is the 2020 and on Jeep Gladiator!

Yusuf Abdikarim correct! The model is a JT “Gladiator”. The trims will be Sport, Overland, Rubicon. And whatever 400 different special edition trims they end up coming out with!

So with a spacer lift, is it more for show rather than performance? You wouldn't be getting the extra articulation and travel than from larger shocks and springs right?

Jack Rotter correct, it is more for show than a traditional suspension lift. You will still gain some articulation though, as long as you have aftermarket shocks that allow for more up and down travel.

They're actually the factory boards! We're still waiting on AMP or Rock-Slide Engineering to push out some boards just for the Gladiator. Stay tuned for which boards we put on! (we'll probably post it on instagram too, so give us a follow 😁)

What’s the smallest rim that will fit the Gladiator? Will 16’s fit on there for the people who likes old school small rim/big tire combo?

Honestly, we aren't sure if you can fit 16's. However, we would recommend going with 17's due to the tire availability.

Yes, the calipers will clear 16s. I’m running 17s on my JL & like you fo not like the oversized wheels that some people are running these days.

With a stubby aftermarket front bumper. All that it really is is trimming the rear inner fenders.

What did you have to do to get the 38x15.5 on it? Any issues with bottoming out or rubbing when turning?

Jon Batt so you you’ll need to trim the back of the fenders and you’ll want a stubby front bumper to clear as well. If you get aftermarket fenders they’ll fit like a dream! I went ahead and changed it up again and put DV8 fenders on it and 40’s !
