At the heart of any true Jeep suspension system are properly designed coil springs. By developing specially tuned sets of dual rate coils springs, JSPEC™ coils provide the best performance in any driving situation. Whether loaded down with gear for a weeklong expedition, running light for some rock-crawling fun, or loaded with a few friends for a trip to the beach, JSPEC™ coils will provide the ride you want and the performance you need. Anticipating the desires of many in the JL community JKS has developed new HD dual rate springs offering smooth, predictable performance while offering extra capacity for customers adding front end accessories. Springs allow for 3” of lift in Rubicon models, 3.5” of lift on other models. Pairing to these coil springs you’ll have the option of Jspec gas charged twin tube shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series aluminum-bodied monotube shocks, both are designed for on-road comfort and improved capability when you hit the trail. Next up on the parts list is the JKS adjustable front track bar. Known for its strength and superior design, this track bar is built from 1.5” OD heavy wall DOM tubing. The track bar is formed for maximum clearance to the front axle, utilizing a threaded end with jam nut and durometer specific bushings at both ends to properly position the front axle while isolating NVHs. Also positioning the front axle is a set of lower control arm cam locks to correct caster for improved driveability.
When its time to hit the trail, the supplied sway bar quicker disconnects can be easily removed by pulling the clips and swinging the links up and out of the way for increased articulation. These sway bar disconnecting links maintain quiet on-road comfort and quiet operation using an adjustable design with spherical poly-flex ball bushings capable of high-misalignment. New for the JT quicker disconnects is a frame mounted retention bracket to secure your sway bar up out of the way when you’re on the trail. Along with sway bar disconnects to increase articulation, a pair of billet aluminum bump stop extensions are also included to control suspension up travel.
From the factory the Gladiator has a bit of rake, with the front end roughly 2” lower. To eliminate this rake while still maintaining ride quality and load capacity, a HD dual rate 1.5-2” lift coil springs specifically designed for the Gladiator were developed. Additionally extended length rear sway bar links are supplied to correct sway bar operating angle along with rear bump stop extensions to properly limit up travel. Rounding out the rear is your choice of matching Jspec gas shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series shocks to round out this package. Improve not only your new Gladiator JT’s appearance, but its offroad capability and on-road comfort with this new 3” J-Rated Jspec System from JKS Mfg.

For the people with axle questions, there was not enough time before SEMA/Video Shoot to get them installed and geared however the jeep happily has the axle swap done now and is ready to go back out and have fun.

Have to love the stock axles questions, every snapped axle hellcat wrangler and gladiator video shows the stock axles, going to guess their isn't any upgraded axles yet.

This, the rebel off road/iron man and the red Doetsch/Bolt Gladiator were my favorite Gladiators from SEMA this year. Like that it was kept simple and no bedrack. Seems like everyone is doing that these days.

TheErichs12 Larger axles are stronger and can handle larger tires and more abuse.

@@TheErichs12 Yea if you upgrade tire size or horsepower its important to know what your axles can handle because they can break pretty easy if they aren't beefy enough. Another thing is if you upgrade tire size you want higher gear ratios installed in axles to match your torque. If your stock vehicle is geared for 31 inch tires and you add 35 inch tires without increasing the gear ratio, then you lose a lot of torque which is important off road and for getting up to speed on the road

What axle up grades. Will you go full floating? What transfer case are you using? What lockers and gear ratios? What drive shaft upgrades? What brake upgrades do you plan? Any radiator upgrades?

I went with a LTl with a whipple super charger only pushing 680 foot pounds of torque but that whipple will go to 1100 hp with some motor mods

Nice conversion but if it were me I would stick to a NA 6.4 conversion . Still plenty more power then stock but less worry around engine heat, driveline parts breaking and no blower whine, just a nice V8 exhaust note. The one built by Dennis Collins is a great example and they use the heavy duty trans from the Ram that has been engineered for that V8.

jeep said it themselvs that you can just bolt in a hellcat engine with no issue. the only reason they dont is cuz it makes head on collisions not as safe and thus making it not up to us standard. they cant sell it from the factory with a hellcat engine but you can bolt one in.

If I build a jeep, I wouldn't use a dodge engine. Too tall, too heavy. I'd use a LT4 Corvette engine. Twin charge it (supercharger and turbo charger) at about 30 psi. And a lot of carbon fiber.

@@01firstlast Corvette engine is under 400 lbs and is lower in profile . The hellcat engine is a little over 400 lbs , but is a very tall engine.
