I think I'll keep an eye on you two. Just got my first ever Jeep in the form of a 2020 Gladiator Sport S, wanted an Overland for the wheels and a few other things, but the Sport S turned out to be a better option for me for a number of reasons. I'm DIYing a headliner for it using those interlocking EVA floor exercise mats, and I've got some other DIY mods planned as well. Looking forward to seeing what all can be done with these. My bedliner is crap though. I think previous owners did it themselves. I've got a bit of work ahead of me if I'm going to redo it, and it really should be.... Doesn't look a thing like yours does, which was clearly done at the factory or a commercially equipped aftermarket facility. Mine looks like it was brushed on... And they missed a bunch of spots. Your trucks look great!

with larger tires there's more resistance, more drag on the vehicle going down the road
@ZonaOverland3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right, and also the engine needs more energy to rotate such a big mass in comparison to smaller tires if you do not have the right wearing settings.

On my Gladiator I went to 315 70 r 17 from 285 70r 17 got better mpg, roughly a 1/2 to 3/4 inch more clearance and better response from the drivetrain.

I'm surprised you haven't changed out the ugly tail lights with LEDs and that Yeti white one needs a set of Texas bull horns :-D

How'd the one side of the gladiator lettering change from being backwards at start of video to then 7:52 its proper way? So cute how you pick up and change your accent like your brothers.
@ZonaOverland Жыл бұрын
Hi John, maybe it's because we were using the selfie mode on the cellphone and then the rear camera. when you do that it changes the lettering. lol yes, we have accents

I'm debating on tire size now for my manual gladiator. Without a regear at all is the 295/70-17 livable or does it feel sluggish? Do they rub at all? And what is the back spacing on those rims?
@ZonaOverland3 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex - it is livable. With the manual gearbox you could go 305/70/17 but after that it will be totally rubbish. . Also, You will be able to feel the lack of power and if you are in sand you will need to be in 4X4 Low most of the time unless the sand is nice and compact.Without a lift yes you will rub with the front fender lip And the wheel are -18 offset.

One thing you can't change is the too long 137" wheelbase
@ZonaOverland3 жыл бұрын
Yes we agreed with you! we already experienced how long it is in some offroading situations
@gvsukids3 жыл бұрын
is the tonneau cover the Mopar hard cover? are those the Mopar side steps? trail rails from the factory gives you the bed outlet, but not the front rail which is cool. you could also talk about your reason for buying Gladiators together. have you though about adding entry guards? are you on jeepgladiatorforum.com?
@ZonaOverland3 жыл бұрын
Yes, the Tonneau cover is the Mopar hardcover. Dundee's side steps yes are the Mopar and for Yeti are aftermarket. We didn't get the bed outlet from the factory, they should give that outlet as a standard feature for sure. Alex added the entry guards to Dundee and he completely forgot to talk about them. They help to avoid being so slippery when your shoes are wet, also they look very cool. We are not on Jeep Gladiator Forum but we will register very soon. Thank you for your comment and questions.
