Yes you can have a V6 and get good gas mileage, you do not need a new truck with a 4cyl turbo.

Im with you on this as well. Im currently on 37” with a 3.5” lift, alu cab and rtt. 14.5-15.5L/100km average and I live 2500 feet up in hilly terrain. I was complaining a bit to my buddy who just bought a brand new 24’ tacoma auto trd OR. He’s getting 14.5 stock! Yes its brand new, only a month old but my stock Mojave new was getting 12.5-13.0.

My stock 2020 jlu rubicon with 3.6 will get 22 hwy trip average. Just did it the other day from Greenville sc to central Ga. If I start running 75-80 it drops, city stop and go it drops as well as off-road of course. Over all I’m pretty happy with my jlu rubicon and may get a Mojave as the prices drop. The Gladiator checks a lot of boxes for me. I doing big excavation for a living and love using the Jeep on the job. My super duty is a beast but it is to expensive to wear out and drives like a wagon on the job when not needed towing. So I’m going to add a Mojave.

My 2021 2Dr Rubicon got 21 and my 2024 4Dr XR Rubicon with factory 35’s gets 18 mpg… great rigs!

I get over 20 MPG on my Rubicon with 35s back and forth to work. I have to drive conservatively to do it, but it isn't that hard to achieve. I hate people who buy a truck and then complain about truck gas mileage. The Gladiator is about as good as it gets for a gas engine...

Turbos are to help emssions. That being said id take an NA engine ovwr them anyday.

I had an idea for a video that no one here seems to have. This would be an explanation of your JEEP as it pertains to ''HOW EVERYTHING IN THE DRIVE TRAIN WORKS''. For us new comers when we watch all these reviews everyone points out the seats stitching, the fancy steering wheel and orange highlights but how do you use this truck off road? Such as, when do you lock the rear, is it a 3X4 and not a 4X4 unless you have a front locker, what is the transfer case and what does it do, what does locking the rear do and the other button that puts it in a special OFF ROAD MODE do?

Yea i hear ya Eric. There is a lot of info on all that online and youtube, most of which is basic knowledge of 4x4 systems in general and how they work and not Mojave specific. I think my videos do have more info than the cookie cutter reviews do. The mojave does not have a front locker so it would be limited slip front diff like most 4x4s have. The offroad plus button changes throttle mapping and shift points.

My 22' gladiator gets around 15 in the city, 18 to 19 on the interstate. I don't consider that good MPG thou. I mean my old 92' Chevy Blazer Tahoe I had as a teenager in the late 90s got 18 MPG. so 25 years later we should be getting better MPG in trucks today. Every other technology has advanced why not this? Now with that said, I've owned nothing but Jeeps for almost 2 decades now, if I wanted good MPG I'd buy hybrid, I buy Jeep because they are fun, and that's all I care about.

Yeah stock it may get decent gas mileage. Wait till you put bigger tires, 13mpg all day.

We're talking about stock vehicles . Any vehicle you put bigger tires on the gas mileage suffers. Even more so on the turbo vehicles because you're dipping into the turbo more often. How many vehicles from the factory have 33s and get 19 mpg? If i put 35s and regear it ill avg 17 to 18. Thats pretty damn good.

Jeeps SUCK with fuel mileage. Period. 19 on the highway is garbage. Drive in the city.. it will drop down to 12.
