From everything I've seen on the jt if you are running 35+ tires you want to upgrade to 513 rear gears. The stock 410 gears basically won't let you get into 8th gear in the transmission. You might just be happy with the 410s because you don't know what your missing. Twisting those little gears with them big tires will blow them apart soon enough. Then you'll have to upgrade and you can let us know.

That’s true I’ve tried to manually shift it to hit 8th gear on the freeway because you can’t tell what gear you’re in unless you manually shift it. I’d upgrade the axles before I’d spend $1,200 per axle to re gear the current Dana 44’s

You have zero idea what you are talking about. Lower gears have more torque and are more prone to breaking and have more teeth but smaller and break easier. 5.13 is super low for 35s. 4.10 are almost perfect for 35s. And 4.88 is what you want for 37s, and if you have 40s you want 5.13. If you have a 392 you don’t need to regear at all on 3.73 you need more education.

Any update on the winch? How's it holding up? Is 10,000 large enough for the Gladiator?
@Gladiator4x4Beast3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely love it, there is some very slight wear and tear on the synthetic line but nothing bad. I've winched Wranglers out of heavy rocks and full size pickups out of Diablo Drop Off with it. I've ripped out tree stumps with it too, works great! No complaints at all.

@@Gladiator4x4Beast what would alleviate the wear and tear on the rope?
@Gladiator4x4Beast3 жыл бұрын
@@gvsukids I think it's unavoidable, only cure for that would be to not use it. lol

Or keep it out of the dirt as much as possible.

Did you add any spacer in the front after adding the winch to get ride of the rake due to the weight of the winch that was add on in the front ?
@Gladiator4x4Beast3 жыл бұрын
I have not added any spacers in the front. Didn't notice any rake from the winch weight that was pretty much the stance before the winch but spacers in the front would level it out. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Best in class 1,700 lb payload on the Gladiator according to Jeep.

@Gladiator 4x4 Beast 1600 on the sport with a manual is the highest.

@@15jwrangler Jeep claims 1,700 lb on the brochure for the Gladiator and on the Jeep website. Looking for differences in the models now, I'm guessing maybe the Max Tow package on the Sport S has 1,700 lb max payload and the Rubicon has 1,600? I'm going off the Jeep Gladiator brochure and the website.

These numbers from Redlandsjcdr.com aren't even accurate so it's arguable. Maybe I'll have to test it on a future video.
