I just got my evo 12 today I'm so excited. Everything is amazing but Warn is so cheap, no sticker... Oh well, when I bought it I didn't realize it had a wireless remote

Yeah a sticker for the toolbox would have been nice. I’m really happy with mine so far, the wireless remote is a big bonus. Just FYI they take special batteries so you might want to buy extra for the glovebox.

I just bought this one. I bought a hawse fairlead from my bumper manufacturer. I didn't even think about the winch coming with one.

Zack Taleb it’s pretty easy, to activate the wireless remote you just hold the top button until the blue light turns on. You can always use the cord and plug it into the winch and it works like any other remote. Hope this helps!

That’s interesting, haven’t had any trouble with mine. Only thing I noticed was the winch line was wound on backwards from the factory, easy enough to fix. I’d call their customer service, had a good experience last time I called.

bob grass cost vs capability, this gets you a Warn at about half the price of a Zeon if you can find it on sale. At the time it was very new and there wasn’t a lot of info on it, that being said I would definitely buy it again!

How do you charge the remote?

It uses a special AA looking battery that is disposable, so it will need to be replaced when it dies. Standard AA’s won’t work so make sure to order the same style that came with your remote.

j j 2021 I’m sure it would work great, with a 1 ton truck I would probably step up to the 12s model just to be safe. Rule of thumb is 1.5x weight of your truck loaded.

Ricardo Vigil I’ve been really happy with the setup so far. The winch still looks great even after the rainy, snowy weather we’ve been having. I’ve been happy with the bumper as well no rust or chipping. I wonder why they put a hold on production?

Recreate 1431 no you’ll have to buy one separately or get a winch ready bumper.
