I purchased a different dashcam and a YQMAJIM DashCam Power Adapter,(10P TypeC) kit, but have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2018. Your vid helped me a lot as I was having difficulty unmounting the simple power connection into the mirror. Removing the cover as you specifically talked about made all the difference for me as the disconnector push down on the mirror power connector was only accessible for me this way even with the mirror completely disconnected from the windshield (it twists off). Very simple install now. Thank you for posting this.

Np! Mine is the hd2-6091 I believe. For some reason my invoice just says hd2 and so does the box 😅

You can wire it for that if you like but mine is not. If you use the odb it can do the accident trigger

I do not think so since you need power to the rear view mirror

hmm I would say find the model number and get the manual and if that doesnt work see if it has a wifi signal and try to connect to it after getting the app. There is a secret reset on these
