Well somebody has to do it and if its that much trouble, you'll just pay somebody else (who doesn't care) a lot of money to break something or not get things back together right because it takes too much time. For them, time is money.

Simple solution: "Don't buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee". I don't know this particular vehicle but have seen similar situations where the ultimate solution is to work up from below or pull the inner fender out to reach behind the headlight.
