Jeep J10 Tail Lights | Electrical & Installation

This week we are back to work on the 1978 Jeep J10. Today I will be fixing the entire Tail Light system by going through all of the wiring. This Job will be very similar to most FSJ Jeeps and older era Trucks. If you have any questions that the video does not cover, make sure to leave them below.

Love your truck and am very much enjoying your channel. I have a 1974 J20 so your work on the J10 is very helpful. I particularly like the fact that you are not trying to get 400 horse power out of your 360 but just making sure it’s drivable and safe. In addition the repairs and replacements you tackle are ones that people like me (weekend mechanics) can tackle. Keep it up.

Question would you recommend or use LED replacement bulbs in place of standard 1156, 1157, or 194 bulbs and if so would they generate less heat? I have an old inherited 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport that needs work. Thanks
