Hey, thanks for this. I may try it but my shifting essentially just moved yesterday, (so 3rd was more like where 1st used to be etc). Think that is from low trans fluid? Its a 2016 jk with less than 40K

@@RobertMcGrath-w2z Thank you for the feedback and thanks for watching! My first thought would be maybe the shifter stick has moved slightly and causing what you are describing. I have a clutch replacement video where I show how to remove the center console and shifter. If you feel comfortable doing this I would remove the center console and see if the shifter stick has rotated on the actual shifter. If you have purchased it somewhat recently then it may be under warranty to where you can take it in and get it looked at. I don’t think low fluid would cause this and that’s where I would start as far as figuring out the problem. If the stick has rotated then you could loosen the retaining screw and center it back up and retighten. Hope you get it figured out!

I had about that much in the way of shavings on mine after 20,000 miles. Seems to be normal since everybody I've seen change the fluid has about that much.

That is true, that seems to be about normal during a fluid change. Thanks for watching!

Any torque specs on the plugs?
@JKJeepАй бұрын
I always run them down finger tight then use a ratchet and only turn enough to crush the washer or seat the taper depending on your plug. Thanks for watching!

Did you notice any change?

The Jeep seemed to shift smoother after the fluid change. I think the fluid was probably slightly low prior to me changing it so I can't credit it all to the fluid change. But, I did notice a slight change. Thank you for watching!
