Yeah, he’s missed some specifics that are included (JK vs JL) in the instructions. Parts list has 8mm FLAT washers & ‘spacer cones’ (specifically for JL’s). Flats are ON the parts list but were NOT included OR USED in the instructions. I tried calling (“TMG”?) and after some prompts Smittybilt was an option, BUT THEY NEVER ANSWERED the call. Must be business is REALLY good...

Would have been helpful to speak to how they fit the JL since the hinge is shaped differently than the JK. I thought those conical washers were to adapt to the JL... but you just used them with the JK. Now I have no idea if anything has actually been done to resolve the fitment issue with the JL.

Do you have tips on torx bolts that are stubborn to break? I don't want to strip them.
