I think I speak for a lot of us when I say we would enjoy seeing the little details. Yes of course the leaf springs is the big thing, but don’t stray away from showing us how all the little things get done too. The finer details help make a rig be good or be great.

For sure. I’ll show you guys some of that in a final review video. I plan on doing a video that will talk about the cost…versus a long arm linked cost. And at that point I’ll talk about all the details. As you know…you change one thing…you have to change 5 others. 😂 so it’s coming for sure. Lots of the videos were very detailed in the build series. The regears and tbh even this one with how to set the ride height. I definitely sped through parts of it, like the welding…but I’ll speak to more of tue details in a follow up for sure.

Man you should quit your day job and open your own shop. I would be willing to ship my jku out to you for sure. Your one of the best descriptive jeep build channel I have subscribed to. Your the reason I am running beads in my JKU on 40’s and your another reason I am doing my axle swap

I live in Ky near Cincinnati and that would be a trip to Texas, I used to be stationed in Louisiana Ft Polk that would have been closer. If I ever need any help with questions I have doing my build i will ask you. I have a 2015 jku with MC 4.5 lift with 8 adj control arms and both adj track bars, I have syenergy one ton steering and drag link flipped With terraflex HD ball joints, I am wanting to go to Reed Race knuckles with ball joint deletes and Truss gusset my axle with chrome shafts and maybe sleeves. I am not a rock crawler where I live it’s muddy trails and hills with creeks you drive through, so not a lot of rocks.

@@173rdairbornecombatvet4 sounds like a killer build! My jku is also a 2015 and when o was in Dana 44’s I had a 4.5 lift too. Sounds very similar to yours. Very cool.

what do you think about the Jeep driver side exhaust loop delete. some say the loop needs to be there to match the length of the passengers side to where it meets the Y. I wanting to install a Magnaflow catback overland series high tuck exhaust and remove that rear muffler on my JLUR I probably will use that rear space for the Genright Fuel tank relocation

Yea! great question. Tbh, it probably majes a very minor difference in torque on a dyno by measure of equal head flow from one side of the engine vs. the other. but i didnt hsve a choice with my 3 kink andidudnt notice a difference. so its probably something snall or they wouldnt have spent the time abd naretial at tge factory. but seat of the pants, it isnt noticable.

@@WarPaintOffroad Thanks, good to hear from someone that has done it already. Jeep did that for COST reasons probably. the perfect solution would be to run individual pipes on driver and passenger I was thinking since I'm replacing the exhaust, I might as well delete the loop also

Tbj, i have no idea. KZbin has very strict song and music pol8cies. the eciting sofyware i use gives me the rights to a number of songs. its one of those. let me see if i can find the title.

I'd just make a quick 1/8 in double shear bracket for the drag link cause it cant hurt

I agree. It would t hurt. The bracket for now is a double sheer. I know not in the sense that you are talking about. But the bolt is mounted as a double sheer and being a 3/4 it’s strong. Absolutely worst case scenario it bends slightly. But it should work out just fine with the ram. But I was thinking along the same lines. Another piece of 1/8 off the top of the high steer arm and connecting to the top of the bolt. It’s something that tbh, I’ll get to eventually. Right now we are in a bit of a time crunch…but it will happen more than likely.
