We love our hard tops! This MOLLE set up maybe a good option for our JL.

Yes I have all that room above the Overhead Molle in my JLUR Hardtop. I had to add some small Nylon Washer where those small bolts connect metal on metal because after 2 years it started making noise, even with every bolt completely tight. Now I don't hear a thing.

I have a hard top, around the edges of the freedom panel are about an inch and half thicker around the parameter, the center of panels have same amount of room as soft top. With panel I have no idea
