Very cool, nice to have that little scope to get into spots like this; especially when trying to film. Great job on this one Cody!

I just got a new uscope about 2 months ago and use it constantly. I really like it and learned a lot with it but I'm ready for 2 or 4 channels. Definitely gonna keep it tho. Good video bro

Bradley Dewitt love this thing. It’s so handy and love the size. What kind of scope you looking at for 2 or 4 channel?
@BDauto866 жыл бұрын
Thats what Im trying to decide. Looking at the micsig and viso tablet scopes, or possibly a used snap on. Working on a budget, and have other equipment to buy also.
@codysautodiagnosticsprogra87066 жыл бұрын
Bradley Dewitt both seem pretty decent for the price. Having more then one channel is almost a must nowadays.
@BDauto866 жыл бұрын
Another cheap option would be a dso202/212, its like a 2channel uscope. Theres also hantek, which I hear are decent for the money, but they need a laptop. I kinda like the tablet idea, all in one unit. Check out the CarScope Viso, its sweet 2 channel.

I haven’t used a uscope yet. Is there a benefit to the uscope rather than the scope built into the Zeus? I don’t care much for Snap-on’s scopes but still use the one built into my Zeus and modis occasionally. Most of the time if I need detail I breakout the Pico. I might have to check into the uscope just for quick one channel diag requirements. I also have a long lanyard attached to the overpriced dongle. $1500 replacement is crazy, that this probably cost snappy $30 to build. I like watching diag videos so keep it up.

I left that dongle in two many cars lol. The lanyard is a money saver for sure. Snap on scope are ok but obviously nothing like pico. This thing is super convenient and easy to hook up and set up. The Zeus is awkward but I still use that scope for things also. Didn’t think I would like this little thing so much but I do. It has presets for ignition and amp probes with a lot more. I carry it in my backpack so I always have it on me which is awesome. For the price I think you would get use out of it also, even tho you have the Zeus, pico. I feel all the scopes have their place.

My 2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU has this same code. Mainly comes on during the warmer months and after driving the jeep all day. I replaced the brake light switch (from auto parts store) still have the same issue. I did NOT preform the test you posted. Thoughts? Thanks for the video!
@codysautodiagnosticsprogra87064 жыл бұрын
It could be a couple different things, either your tipm (totally Intragated power module) not supplying the correct voltage or the ecm not seeing the correct signals when it’s suppose to.
@sailingfreedomandfireflies2184Ай бұрын
The switch is $15 from most auto parts stores. That is a lot of diagnostics to determine the $15 switch is bad.

Excellent video. How much time do you have in this vehicle?
@codysautodiagnosticsprogra87066 жыл бұрын
Andres Barreiro with filming or diag lol. Took me longer to film then to perform actual diag. Still learning on best way to document everything

Cody’s Auto diagnostics diagnostics times is what I’m really asking about. Making the video does prolly take more time. Do you do it on your own time or during hours? BTW your comment on not knowing how defazio does it😂😂😂😂. No one does!
@codysautodiagnosticsprogra87066 жыл бұрын
Andres Barreiro so far the videos have been on company time. I want to get more in-depth which I’ll have to do on my own time since I stay busy all day long. It’s hard to take time to do a video but it’s something I want to provide more of but time is always an issue 😐

Throw parts at a car? How do YOU determine it’s not the TIPM or not the PCM, because I’ve had both of those cause this same code on a Chrysler?
@foxreviews22924 жыл бұрын
It's not ok to just change parts, but that switch is about $20 so i would just change it to save time first ,🤷🏻♂️
