Jeep Patriot - Front Bumper/Grill Removal

I won't be buying another Jeep, tired of having to take off front end just to do minor maintenance. A salute to you for posting a great effort. Oh yes i replaced a turning light bulb through the quarter panel "successfully" but did break my finger so i would not recommend that rout.

On the latest model there’s also a bolt at the top of the bumper beneath the plastic wheel well that you’ll have to remove on both sides. Otherwise great video it helps tremendously with light bar installs

I no longer have my Patriot but i believe it is either plastic rivets or plastic clips to remove the grill from the bumper. I believe you have to remove the bumper to remove the grill. Thanks for watching!!

I believe so, I’m not certain but if it’s anything like changing Wrangler headlight housing than I’d say yes it is required

Yes I believe there’s a white plastic hex alignment bolt at the top of the headlight housing when you open the hood to adjust the headlights

I’m pretty sure the grill and bumper are attached by plastic rivets that’ll have to be drilled out and replaced, I’m pretty sure the two pieces of bumper are connected by clips and maybe more rivers but I’m not too sure

Didn’t actually check, I think you can but I believe they’re connected together by plastic rivets I thought I read somewhere, which means they’d have to be drilled out and then re-mounted to each other somehow afterwards

sorry man, i took out all the bolts i have. i don’t have the patriot no more but double check where the bumper and front inner fenders meet there might be a bolt there you might have to take out. if i remember correctly it’s in a weird spot

I have a 2015 Patriot . It’s got now about 95000 miles on it . Is it worth more tore down and selling parts . I’m not trying to run a parts place at home but I would enjoy taking it apart because it ruined my masculinity . In good shape I’d say fair condition runs good reliable I’m not sure why my girlfriend dates me or gets in the thing . Bless her

im not too sure, you may be able to remove just the grill but if i recall correctly its riveted to the bumper so you may need to take it all off. thanks for watching!
