Going off road is something all Jeepers love to do. In fact for most Jeepers, this is one reason we bought our Jeeps.
When we get into locations or trails that are more suitable for Jeeps to disconnect their sway bars, a lot of new Jeepers don't take the time to disconnect them for various reasons. Either they don't know how, they don't understand why we do this or it's simply too time consuming.
In this video, I tell you the bare basics of why we disconnect sway bars as well as show you a visual example of Jeep articulation "flexing" with the sway bar connected vs the sway bar disconnected and how we disconnect them (if you do not have a Rubicon).
In addition, I install a new set of sway bar quick disconnects by JKS, making it easy and fast to remove your sway bar end links at the trailhead.
