I have the same 2.4 in mine. Is a big 4 cylinder. It just seems like they should have put a turbo on the 2.4 and it would have been WAY better.

My 2018 Renegade has the 2.4 and it is stout for a 4 banger. Definitely wish they could have put turbo on the 2.4s

@@JustinMic81 I just wish they had put the transfer case in there like they did in mine. I literally have three times the wheel torque even though the renegade says 4 low. The 4 low in the renegade is my 4 high. Same as my first gear , basically. If you tried to do an engine swap to produce the same wheel torque as the 2.93 transfer case , you'd need a 500hp, 500 torque engine, basically. That 2.93 transfer is insane. I actually have to press the brake harder when in low to keep it from lurching forward. They should have done that to the renegade.

Great tutorial. I bought the 2” lift kit for my 2016 Jeep Renegade and it didn’t came with the adjustable lateral arm. My question is: do I really need to buy a lateral arm for the kit?

Not that I know of? This was a friend of a friend’s vehicle and he hasn’t said anything on it.

I think it had about 80k. It was a friend of a friends car so really don’t know much about it. I did drive it and seemed very under powered in my opinion but he does drive it back and forth from Colorado to North Dakota all the time with no issues.

So I did a little research and sounds like Avid which is the manufacturer of this lift has gone out of business. Kind of weird because a ton of people have these lift kits and their bumpers. This is a full lift kit. You made need to check out rough country or this one made by Tera Flex which is the exact same lift kit and quality. amzn.to/3rNrwHM

Rough County is another very good lift with complete tutorials on KZbin. They also offset the front spacer eliminating the need for camber bolts.
