I forgot to mention pashupatinath temple just outside ktm. Its where all the holy men and Sadhus live. Its also the main Hindu cremation centre in the ktm valley. You can get bus there easy from ktm, the main bus station is at Gongabu on the ring road.

I am thinking of the Jurassic Park moment Richy when you actually see a great Mammal. I was totally ripped off in Iceland a few days ago, when I saw just 2 baby foxes in captivity for 100 quids PP.

I like going there just before high season starts, gotta be a little lucky with the weather tho... Enjoying every min of this video, it looks like you having a blast.. If you wanna se more animals hire a private guide and walk inside the park.. and wow, it really has gotten very touristy now, stats what scared away many of the animals

To be honest Martin your talking about a zoo where animals are displaced from there natural habitat for people’s enjoyment which I hate. How would you like being kidnapped and put in an enclosure away from everything that is natural to you as in hunting for there food, no space etc. Please don’t say yes but they’re animals because it just isn’t right. This is a natural national park that spans further than the eye can see, it was pouring down and to see anything more than what I did i would have being very lucky. It was a nice afternoon and I enjoyed it but as I said in the vlog I wouldn’t do it again. Thanks👍🏻

Richy, they are not in enclosures at Knowsley Safari Park, it is open parkland not a zoo 😊🙏 I know where I’d rather go to be honest, at least you would be seeing a large variety of animals

@martinpowell5769 as in a zoo I mean where the animals are taken away from there natural habitat. The difference is this is a national park, there’s a lot of luck included in seeing some of the animals mate.

People are getting confused here. This is not fun park or zoo where animals are forced to be seen. It's an extremely important forest and world heritage conservation site. You go there when disturbance is least to animals. You can't even be in the park after 4 pm.

@@ParkinsonRaw 2 - 3 people were commenting like that so I said it early to remove confusion. Infact people are not even meant to see tigers as they are active from 6 to mid night. They just advertise you can see but you have rarest of the rare chance of seeing.

​@@Yooo47true, and after seeing animals in the wild where they roam freely. I hate zoos and circuses. I've been on several safaris in my life. It's bad when you're out in the jungle are you're in a vehicle with people who can't keep their mouths shut. Scaring away the animals. For fuck sake now with mobile phones its worse. I was on a Tiger safari and bloody people made so much noise. There are villages in state of Gujrat where Asian lions roam the streets. It can happen anytime of the day or night. It's alnot uncommon to see Leopards roaming in cities in Mumbai. I'm not even jokeing.

They used to do that safari using elephants to travel, it meant you could get close up and further into the bush. Your much better getting off the tourist trails to somewhere like Gorkha city to Devi Marg or into some of the Gurung villages in that area. Pokhara/ phewa taal is worth a look but again its tourist land. Nepals a stunning place but you will miss the gems sticking to the tourist trails. If your back in KTM then head to Patan its an ancient site in the city of many temples, a tourist place but well worth the visit as is Bhaktapur (cost about £20 taxi from KTM or local bus for about £2 ). Nargakot is not worth the journey unles your over that way. Also have a day to walk around KTM ringroad, theres lots of day to day life going on. Bandipur is a nice place to chill, full of Newar people, very peaceful but can be a pain to get to. All the best Richie. Dhanyabad / thank you

They have a good sense of smell. Did a foot safari in Zimbabwe, saw Rhinos pretty close up. Guide told us what to do if they charge. Rest is up to God.

@ParkinsonRaw No not a zoo a safari parks look it up. Longleaf in the south and Knowsley safari park in Liverpool. The animals roam around in miles of enclosed area. And actually come up to your car.

Thanks mate, your right life’s too short and we have to get out there, you never know what’s round the corner so if you do have the chance I would highly recommend it.
