Hi today's vlog is my First Impressions Of Pokhara 2nd largest City In Nepal🇳🇵🇳🇵. Spoiler alert Pokhara is such a beautiful City surrounded by mountain's and with that was the amazing Lake Phewa. It is clear to see Pokhara is a very touristy destination but that's for a reason, in this vlog you will see why.
I start off with some shopping in the many hiking shops in Nepal's 2nd largest city and i successfully found my size which i couldn't do in Kathmandu. Following that i take a walk through the main area and then on to the beautiful Lake.
I really hope you enjoy my First Impressions Of Pokhara 2nd largest City In Nepal🇳🇵🇳🇵vlog and can join me in the next one. Please Like, Subscribe and Share with anybody who you think may be interested in my content. Thank you

Brilliant vlog love the lake and to see the people having fun is what i am all about and yes I know what you mean about the funfair Glad you got new trainers and sometimes it dont pay to buy cheap trainers in the uk as always the hill goes in as they are cheap. Now i got a question as you said something in video about that was out of your budget. What is your budget per a day if you dont mind me asking as i think i would of done them hills for £12 as it maybe the last time i was there (if i was you) but with your feet hurting that bad because of the old trainers you could not do it anyway (lol but knowing you. You would try it 😅)
@ParkinsonRaw

Thanks again I really appreciate it mate. It is lovely Pokhara and yes the trainers make so much more of a difference my calves were in agony after coming down that five mile hill from Bandipur. I intend to come back hopefully next year and I didn’t want to push myself too much when there’s always next time. I try to keep to £25/30 a day and usually I’m very comfortable on that but I have had a few flights lately and one coming up in two days so I’m trying to keep it tight at the moment as that quickly eats away at my budget.

Hey Richy , another awesome video. Thank you for sharing and showing things as they are. I sense your interactions with beggars/ scammers are getting you down. You’re a lovely bloke and I don’t say this to give you shit. Just to say been there and try not to let it get you down . As you are discovering Nepal has some of the best people too. Omg they’ve destroyed the place. Haven’t been there for about 20 years…yikes! It used to be a quiet unpaved place with just local people and shops. Hi Melanie, it is sad when you remember places from the past and then looking at them now all built up. @ParkinsonRaw
@ParkinsonRaw 16 күн бұрын
Like I said in the last message mate the thumbnail can be interpreted two different ways. Why did I come here, because it’s amazing or because it’s a nightmare. Not at anytime in the vlog did I say I didn’t like Pokhara, quite the opposite in fact. I don’t care if people want to be short sighted and think the worst before they’ve watched the vlog, sometimes thumbnails need to indecisive for people to watch and find out. This vlog is doing better in both views and time watched than any other I have done in Nepal so far so the thumbnail is working.
@ParkinsonRaw

I’ve also just looked at the stats and 99% are likes against dislikes. It’s good to know the vast majority of viewers watch the vlog and know.

When someone tries to sell you something you say “I’m okay.” You then say to us, the viewer, “no means no.” But “I’m okay” is slang, at best, for ‘no.’ Frankly, even as a native English speaker (an American at that!), I find it to be less than polite and ambiguous. To a non native English speaker it probably means nothing, so they obviously solicit again. (And probably would even if you said no thank you, but it seems that as a foreigner one would strive for clarity. Better yet, learn it in Nepalese!). My pedantry aside, another good video. Tx!
@ParkinsonRaw
@ParkinsonRaw 16 күн бұрын
Hi Chad, I appreciate you liking the vlog and your opinion but I find it rather confusing you think that my body language and saying I’m ok thank you as not a sign of no and that being impolite. I find that being much more respectful than the vast majority of people that completely ignore them. I have travelled to a lot of countries and I have never had this problem to the point of being followed down the road repeatedly asking me to buy something. That I find disrespectful. As you said you are American and I am from Northern England so we speak in slang in completely different ways. I will take this comment on board but if that changes the tactics of the sellers/taxis etc I will be extremely surprised.
