Excellent video. Everything I needed to know to safely drop a crusty old D44 from my '99 TJ.

I just put a Dana 44 in my 05 Jeep Tj. The 44 came out of an 05 LJ. I put an E locker and 4:56 R&P. I put a lunch box locker in the Dana 30. Drives like a dream, and the rear disc brakes are nice. I’m running 33-13.50-15 with a 2” lift. I live in the mountains, and the TJ handles the snow fine.

Nice video have no doubt you will love the 44. While you have it apart should relocate the upper spring mounts to get rid of the bent coil spring affect.

How log did it take you to get the 35 out, from start to finnish?
@_everydayoffroad_ Жыл бұрын
About 3 hours for me while filming.

@@_everydayoffroad_ Thanks for the repliy, so I pulled my front axel out, and it took me 3 hours. But it took me most of the next day putting it back in.

Which 44 are you going with? Stock or aftermarket?
