I also ordered my front and back axles on January 30, but with arb lockers. now they are installed may 9. Slowly breaking them in for the first 500 miles.

Nice. I’m breaking mine in now too. Several heat cycles and a fluid change after a few hundred miles

@EverydayOffroad so far I've done 3 rounds of 20 mile at 45 mph tomorrow I'll do 2 rounds on the freeway at 60 mph then the rest around town until the 500 miles up then the oil changes. Hope you can make a video of changing your diff. fluid and looking at the gears!

How long did it take to get the axle shipped? And did they send it rite to your house

It took right at 8 weeks from the time I ordered to getting dropped off at my garage door.

Did you source a t-fitting for the brake lines? Or did the axle come with one? The one I just got in doesn't have the same set - up as my D35 and they didn't ship the axle with a new fitting. I need to call them (ECGS).

I was able to use the fitting off of the Dana 35. The Fusion came with hard brake lines that plugged right into my existing T fitting. Mine didn’t come with a new fitting either.

@@_everydayoffroad_ Good info Thanks man, I haven't actually pulled my 35 so maybe the fitting will work. It looks welded and has the vent tube incorporated into it. The vent tube on the new Dana489 I got is separate from a post with a nut on it that looks meant for a specific t-junction.

Your existing fitting off the 35 should work. Mine came the same way. Looks welded, but if you take the vent hose off and start loosening the nut, it starts to loosen up and come off.

Did you do anything different on the shock perch on the axle? my springs fit way better on my D35. On this one they use the washer plate and bolt to retain it but how do you position the springs? My 35 had notches and fit snugly over the bump on the perch. On the new 44 the springs diameter is way larger than the diameter of the cylinder on the perch.

hey bro i have same TJ maybe mine little older 2001 i finally did same move i did the same Fusion 44 front and rear i order back in february tell me how long did it take you to come delivery. i got mine true the my mechanics has not arrived yet .. hos the disk brake in rear hows the difference?? by the way beautiful TJ you have great 👍🏻 videos see more of you later in videos keep them coming . i might show my TJ after the build is finished.... your TJ is 🔥 😎 👍🏻
