Thanks for the video! The most difficult part was to put back the plastic cover 😅

Great tutorial, definitely helped me in replacing my turn signal last night. Out of curiosity, do you recommend lubricating any parts of the switch prior to reassembling?

We typically do not, if you did put grease or something on the arm I'd be afraid it would just collect all the hair and dirt that went behind the wheel. We do typically use dielectric grease on all elec connections being jeeps can see more moisture than other vehicles

Thanks for the video. If possible can you answer a question for me. A few days ago someone tried stealing my 2000 TJ. In the process they busted the turn signal and broke off the hazard switch. Now when I activate the turn signal my hazards come on. I no longer have brake lights, relay, fuse, bulbs and stop switch are all good. Is it possible the damaged turn signal is causing the short on the brake lights. Thank you

I'd think it's a high probability of causing the brake light issue. The turn signal isn't a ton of money. I linked one in the description, runs about $50. Beats the later 01+ signal switches they are close to $100.

Awesome! Thank you for the response, I will get one ordered up now. *update* Received and installed the turn signal, I now have brake lights again. Thanks for the video and Advice.
