if you need 4wd or low you can grab a solid round object like the tire iron and hit the lever on the case into 4wd, 4low and back to 2wd. can do the same with the transmission.

Haha, thanks alot, this just happened to me trying to get out of my driveway during this blizzard. Haven't dug myself out yet but will do so tomorrow. Hopefully it's just the lower linkage but if not l know what to do. Thanks again.

Good vid. If you undid the 2 back screws of the console, it would have been easy to lift the centre consul from the back, can lift it about a foot up without having to take it off completely, this would give heaps of space to get the hands in

Cut the clip part of the bushing off. Using the bushing part, put a tight fitting washer and an “e” clip into the groove of the pin on the t-case shift lever. Won’t ever come off again. Do the same inside the console. Alternatively the Advance Adapter cable kit is the 100% solution

@@KINNETICOFFROAD Washer diameter has to be larger than the bushing diameter. I’ve done this fix a number of times for folks. I eventually did the AA cable kit. A PITA to install but bulletproof.

Ours broke today. Our shifter cable with the hole is stuck behind that metal bracket under center council. Which makes it even harder with the council still on. I pried it up enough to do the job but now I can't get the bushing to go in the hole on the cable. Pain in the butt. The cable under the jeep was a lot eaiser
