How did it work out for you?

Just a heads up for anyone in the future but there us just the one clip holding that cable end up there where it feeds through right there, if you slide that out you can bring the whole cable end down making it much more accesable.

My Jeep Grand Cherokee will not engage in all-wheel drive where it should be. I noticed the bushing is not there. Do you think this is why it is in two-wheel drive when it should be in all-wheel drive when I shift it in 4 low only the two rear tires have power but not the front tires. While in park I can sp in the front shaft by hand No problem.

If it were me trying to put that in I would grease it up, using a socket, extension and a hammer to slap it in place. You might be able to disconnect the lever into a better position for installation

Maybe even use a short socket and a C-Clamp ?

Did you try putting it in from the opposite side before you drove it out?

Absolutely. In hindsight, I should have shaved some of the shelf off the green grommet rater than drill out the cable. It's holding up well so far, but I could have done a better job. Life lessons and all, lol.

@@phantomoverlandI thought that too. When I'm working on my own stuff I often overlook things like that. Thanks for the video it's great info.
