I know this is an old video but I just figured this out myself. If you look at the long leg sticking out of the blue part of the switch, the bottom left one is shorter. This part is what breaks and it gets hung up on the spring loaded plunger underneath. You can either replace the whole blue piece or you can trim the broken piece back a little more and it will not get hung up and stick in the down position. You will lose the auto roll down but it will work just like any normal switch. I just learned this so I thought I would share it with my jeep friends.

I already had the module out and was wondering if the switch covers came off. Thanks for the info. The contacts in mine were black and pitted. Acetone and fine sandpaper fixed them. I only had the driver window fail but the rest all looked as bad. I thought this only came from high voltage arcing. Anyone know why these do this?

How do you replace the bulbs in these? Where are the lights located?

I have issue with the light not illuminating but all windows still work. did you see where a bulb can be replaced in there?

Mine is out too. I think the entire module needs to be replaced as bulbs are not sold separately that I've ever seen.

My 2007 2 door jk the electric windows stick jerk going down basically fine going up is this a sign of bad switch or bad window risers. I think it is switch have 360k miles on it.

don lum could also just need some dry lubricant in the rails or risers?

At 361k miles replaced the switch. Works correctly should of replaced it a year ago.
