2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 Jeep Wrangler Window Not Working, Door locks, or mirror(Inoperative)

This video is on a 2014 Wrangler where the window stopped working. It also goes for any loss of function on either door. Ended up being a broke wire at the connector for the door.

Was charged $500+ for the window motor replacement and it failed again within the year. Pulled on the white wire and it was broken. Took the inside panel off and the wire had already been repaired before but broke again. Thanks for the video! Saved me $500+ for a new "motor replacement"..... should have done it myself the first time.

Hey, I have a 2012 Rubicon. The power locks work by the remote but neither door lock works by the door lock switch? Help with wiring schematics? Or a trouble shooting video. Thanks !!

I may be having a similar issue with my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Jk unlimited. Both rear windows quit working at same time. Bought 2 motors. Changed driver side rear with no issues. When installing passenger rear motor window would go down but won’t go up. After one attempt at the switch to roll window back up all other windows become inoperable. I shut Jeep off and power was returned to other 3 windows. I pulled motor in rear passenger side and hit the switch. The motor did turn in both directions. Tested a few more times and it did only function in the down position. Question I have is this a electrical short, regulator or possibly a faulty.motor. I did notice electrical static at front dash 4 switch. Switches also feel well worn. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Dylan

My 2014 Jeep Jk 4 door. When I open both the driver and passenger door the ODO won’t recognize these two doors open and the dome lighting won’t come on. Then I have a issue where I get rear tire pressures but not the two front ones as I have the alpine restyle radio. What could be the problem. I tried to unplug and plug the doors back in and nothing.

I will check it out . Nice video. If you press the uttons in the mid column, the ck windows work, but the buttons for the front windos don't seem to have power. Someone broke into my jeep and did this. Diagnostic 130 dollars to find out the problem. No can do.Bad timing. Is this all it could be.

is it possible both front stop working with just one wire broke? mine just quit all fuse is good i can hear motor i think i unhooked battery for like 8hrs and still nothing

vince kresky if the rear work and the front don’t, but you can hear the drive motors click in one direction only, it’s the switch. Check them with a volt meter and you will probably only have power up but not down. I went through 3 switches and they are all garbage with the same fragile circuit board.

I own a 07 bought it new. Has 354k miles the electric windows will studder going down. Works correctly rolling up. Have changed acc rely cleaned battery post. Could it be almost broken through wires. Nothing on internet about this studdering issue

Just fixed window stuttering problem when putting windows down, also door locks would open but not lock. The fix was a new battery. Now door locks and windows working fine autozone tested battery and it was bad. Last battery i bought for vehicle was 5 years old according to my autozone account. i love that they keep all records for your purchases.
