Max eco round use: 1. Hot water from a the tap (quantity depending on the temp and the dent) pour it on slowly (some dents might just come by them self this way). - On backhand, a boiling spaghetti sized casserole (if the bumper gets cold, or hotter water is required) - Heatgun or hairdryer can be backup. But you don’t really need it. They can make it too hot, think melting hot. (This video demonstrates that). !! The ultimate goal is forcing the plastic to snap back into original place. Try to not to make the plastic white, it means that it is expanding. Try avoiding to sculpt, mold or shape it too much, too hot plastic will behave like 3:12 in the video, 200°F or 90°C degree plastic will most likely snap) 2. Use the shaft of a hammer instead of the wooden shaft (may need a more oval hole). Just use what you have. 3. Black duct tape should seal it it up nicely. Bonus tip: if you don’t want to buy a hole (making) saw kit, just use several holes from a big drill bit or a handy sharp knife (and your hammer). Tape, sand, file or lube up the inside (if sharp edges) for a smoother entry when sticking in your hammer shaft around. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, IT REALLY HELPED ME!

I bought a plastic cap/plug at true value and sealed/glued with black silicone

Even the metal panels being so cheap and thin today, you can get some of those dents out with a heat gun also.

Oh no! My online cart is about $850 because I want a new RuggedRidge bumper after having a dent like this and not wanting to buy a cheap plastic bumper.. At least I can keep the OEM bumper for now with the help of this video. I’m sure your jeep looks great with that bumper you got!

I'm not sure about metal, I have only done this on plastic bumpers, mostly jeeps. I have used PDR guys for thin metal body parts, I have heard that there are guys that can straighten some metal truck bumpers.
