Hi,once I had a jeep.i put a 2600 cc isuzu with 4x4 gear.that was incredibly works at any terrain.with very low rpm.you just need 4 to 5 people sit in it.

Wait for a few months, let someone in group buy a Thar and then we will put it through offroad comparisons. As of now Mahindra is tightly controlling media cars access and there is complete gag on offroad testing, maybe they arent confident on abilities 😉. So watch and read sugarcoated reviews for some more time, from media who havent been offroading once in their life or owned and lived with a 4x4 of their own.

Customer cars deliver hone do, only media drives going on now. First impressions, very good lifestyle vehicle, great refinement and engines, suspension is decent, fit, finish, comfort all good but won't be good offroad, more of in league of Scorpio than of Gypsy, old Thar etc.
