Also it’s a good idea to replace the rear main seal while you have everything apart plus it might be the source of the oil leak

I just finished this job you don’t have to remove the starter or the inspection plate but you do have to remove the exhaust. There a little table in the inspection plate you can Bend back with a screwdriver

Use felt pro gasket set them come with the blue clips I also recommend replacing the rear main seal while you have everything open which I did

FYI the correct torque in the Chilton manual stats: * 1/4 x 20 (smaller bolt) = 84 in-lbs * 5/16 x 18 (bigger bolt) = 132 in-lbs

you can either pull the plugs and crank with the starter or use a drill to spin the pump manually

No, just in the 4 spots shown at 4:30, but my gasket is oem and the manufacturer says you don't need it in between the pan and the gasket

no, it did that first time when i didn't buy oem parts. this video was my second time doing it with oem parts and it didn't leak at all afterwards.
