I wish I had seen this before I bought. I just got a 2023 Coachmen Clipper 12.0 Pro fold down camper. It’s more of a teardrop design. I like that your camper is more open and easier to get around inside. I’m 6’2”. The one thing I do like about mine is the outdoor pullout kitchen. I’m hauling mine with a 2023 Wrangler 4-door Willys Edition. I’ve been thinking about doing some mods. I was impressed with adding a K&N cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust and bullydog tuner on my 2013 Ram. (Made it closer to 500 HP). I want to add some performance mods to my Jeep. Eventually, when they come out with one to match the 2019+ 3.6L Pentastar, I would like to get an Edelbrock bolt-on supercharger. I will most definitely add the cold air intake, tuner and exhaust upgrades to help with towing for now. Thanks for your video.

We do the magnet thing too 👍. We have an old restored early 70s camper we tow with a JKU. Not the ideal tow rig, but the jeep trails in the area when we get there is worth it. Happy camping.

Somebody told me those stabilizers are NOT levelers. You need to level the tires, then use the stabilizers to just keep it stable. You can warp your frame if you put too much pressure on them.

It was surprising to me that you quit using your camper until I watched this video. The camper you had weighed to much because of it's 20 foot length. With a 3500 pound capacity for your Jeep the length should not of exceded 14 feet. Even though trailers are a pain in the butt you would be so much more comfortable in one that is smaller. I got a Geo Pro 14 feet and tow with an 08 Honda pilot with the same towing capacity as your Jeep. Your tongue weight on that camper was probably to high also. You can always start over with a different camper.

I am having the worst time with my hitch, back up camera, & 35" spare tire. Can you explain your hitch set up? Looks like it might solve my problem because I don't want to have to remove my spare tire every time I tow. Thanks!

Yes, trailer only weighs 2741 lbs dry. I towed all the way from Vegas to South Dakota and back
