I didn't realize that those nut strips just slip in. I'm installing a hitch and even though I have minimal rust, those nuts being under the Jeep for over 20 years rusted and I'm having trouble getting the hitch bolts in. If I can't clean them out today I'll delay the hitch installation and order new nut strips. Thanks for posting the video.

Great clip. Just what I needed for this job!

So when I put my trailer hitch on, I had to cut out holes to put the $35 plates into the frame. I wonder why some Jeeps already have the access holes cut.

No need to put holes, it’s all available from factory, I was just cleaning the rust with driller.

I just received my new nut strip and I'm doing this project tomorrow. Did you have to remove the two muffler bracket bolts to remove the passenger side nut strip?

Yes I removed those bolts holding the exhaust, not sure one or two.
