That's funny, I was about to quote that also! I've had two projects recently where I'm constantly dealing with oil and coolant. Totally sucks. I'd much rather deal with rusty bolts on control arms:)

I spill fluids all the time. I use saw dust over kitty litter. My floor is bare concrete so having sawdust always on hand is a must.

Once, when replacing the transmission on my LJ, we had fully drained the fluid and my buddy didn't notice the pan right behind his head when he laid down under the Jeep. Let's just say ATF-4 makes an interesting shampoo/conditioner LOL.

For anyone interested in that transmission, the fluid looked pretty good.

I asked my wife to pump the brakes on a classic car I have....not for a bleed, just to check something. Pumped them like 3 times. You would have thought I told we were moving and she had to do all the packing. My wife has never put gas in a car. She let's me know when she needs gas and I use her car that day. I hope I don't predecease her.

Anytime I take on a job like this I get a cheap tarp from harbor freight and lay it down and also have a bucket of cat litter in case of spills. Makes clean up a lot easier especially if the floor is uncoated concrete.

My keeps been down for over a year now, kinda stuck with it. Story is, I was headed to work and it just gave out at 60mph. Engine Erving with no go. We just got my Jeep refinanced too. Got a loan on it, paying for a vehicle still, that can’t be driven... struggling to find a transmission. now I just sit in it, and dream of driving it again..

Protip: always have oildry handy at all times. 2 reasons: 1) clean up oil easy, 2) for the cases you actually get stuck in mud, will help to get you unstuck. EDIT: 3) extra weight if you live in a snowy area - like KS
