I love my '88 Comanche Pioneer 4x4 4.0 manual shortbed. The engine is making a very loud slap/clanking sound now, so I'll either fix or replace it, but, the truck looks good even as yard art right now.

Just to let you know if you did not know on the front end of the truck in that if it's if it's the short bed model it should have a front tail mounts on it on the front end so you don't need that rope on it it's on the front front part is kind of like the by the front axle but it's up by the whole entire body

Just incase you've kept the height sensing prop' valve after the brake rework... That angle isn't allowing any rear braking. Correct angle is about 3 o'clock. There's a manual adjusting valve on summit racing that can work as a replacement if yours ever fails; no repops and aren't repairable.

Looks great! Where did you get the Chevy shackles. Would standard Chevy shackles be taller.

Got them at Auto Zone, standard chevy shackle would be taller, but too tall for most applications.

I'm looking at the 4 1/2" lift. I live WAAAAY of grid up in the mountains. What the city boys consider an off road adventure my wife drives daily going to work at the Hospital down in the valley. This is a climbing 4x4 or track driven route from the bottom where the county road crosses our property bout a mile n a half down. We climb 1800 ft alt from bottom gate to the house . A daily routine. Total utility purpose hauling and plowing I"ll be following your build. Dandahermit

Very cool! Yes, now a wet sand w/ 3k grit, then buff. These were very cool in the day. Willys wheels and tires. Looks great. Jeep porn! 👍👍😎🇺🇸
