Bruce Lee even said it best in his movie long street lead sidekick is similar to your jab in boxing but it much more devastating and brutal because you are intercepting your movement from covering your space it can be used offensive and defensive ufc fighters like Jon Jones, Anderson Silva , and Conor McGregor uses this techniques in there fight which is highly effective

Yes the sidekick is always the best kick 👍,but always most effective and quickest in side stance as your already there to fire it,plus if going for the knee better to put the stomp on it savate style,but it’s like any good kickboxer hands set up feet and the feet set up the hands,when your in close opens up grappling and elbows knees,
