His story is quiet the remarkable one, the son of a high school student who soon after divorced his biological father to marry a Cuban Immigrant who came to America with little more than the clothes on his back. Despite these humble upbringings young Jeff Bezos was a child genius and also a die hard Star Trek fan. Combining his intellect and his passion the man risked it all on an internet start up that even he knew could come crashing down at any point. Over the past couple decades he was able to play his cards right and is well on his way to becoming the real world version of Jean Luc Piccard but we will get into this in just a minute. When you start to pay attention to the way Michael emphasizes the end of his sentences by speaking with his throat it will drive you insane. It’s crazy how often he does it in just the first 2 minutes. I never really payed attention to it but now It’s all I hear.

His Cuban dad came from Cuba with nothing at 16. His family stayed behind. Spoke no English. Learned English became an Engineer. Married Bezos’ mom and adopte Jeff and gave him the name Bezos ( a Cuban last name). Then his parents gave him 250 thousand to begin his company. Bezos was blessed with great parents.
