C'mon, Bezos is completely right about this acquisition. Zappos is a good company and a perfect fit for Amazon.

I really like the timber and pacing of Jeff's voice-- he's got a great, sincere, relaxed and believable demeanor. Steve Jobs is cool and suave, Jeff Bezos is almost-- nerdy and lovable?

Why, hello there! How do you do 11 years later? And, yes, you can use it elsewhere (probably, since this video is 11 years old).

Jeff Bezos seemed a lot humbler back then, now he seems cocky. I wonder what changed? 🤔 Also, I didn’t even know Amazon existed in 2009, amazing how far this company came.

Me either. When he said for 15 years, I'm like where was I because I have never heard of Amazon until 5 years now.

Maybe it's the media's perception of what they want you to think the world's richest man is like. Have you met him in person? Or are you just assuming he's different now?

David Fitzmaurice well, I’ve actually watched more up to date videos of him and he seems different

When you sell on Amazon.com, they take 20% of the sale as commission. Additionally, they freeze your funds at seemingly random intervals. If a customer claims they did not receive an item--even if you can provide a delievry confirmation number showing that it had been delievered--Amazon will pay the claim at your expense. I still have not been paid for sales made from the December period, which amounts to over $1,300.

Came here from Tony's book - Awesome read! If you order the comments to "newest first" it's interesting seeing how the attitude to Amazon/Jeff evolved over the years 😬😬
